- give buyers bigger tax breaks and significantly increase funding for battery research
- raise the federal gasoline tax
- expand the plug-in station network
- cleaner sources of electricity such as wind, solar, hydro,
- make batteries (and motors) cheaper and more environmentally safe
- bipartisan support for EVs (it is a national issue, not a political football)
